This Privacy Notice aims to inform you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the usage of FANUC Assisted Reality (FAR) Application. FAR application is a Remote Expert Assistance Software.

FAR application provides teams with immediate access to augmented content and remote expertise to accelerate decisions in the field and create assets for knowledge management systems.

Designed to troubleshoot, inspect and maintain FANUC products and assets in the field, FAR provides a secure and highly interactive experience with access to workflow content and the ability to share live (through online sessions).

This solution is developed and provided by Librestream Technologies Inc. Remote Expert Assistance Software - Librestream Technologies. Librestream is certified to both ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 27018:2014 and has suitable physical and process-based safeguards in place to keep your information secure.

The FANUC Assisted Reality (FAR) Application is handled by FANUC Europe Corporation S.A. While using the FAR application, FANUC is processing personal data of the FAR application users. Below you will find a detailed information on the handling of your personal data.

Personal data (Data) we process during the remote assistance sessions through FAR applications:

  • FAR username and password hash.
  • User’s first name and last name (as a call participant for collections, transcripts, call and chat summaries).
  • User’s email address and/or phone number.

 

FANUC uses this information in the following way:

  • To facilitate FAR sessions.
  • To provide usage reporting information.
  • To perform troubleshooting and support of the FAR platform.
  • To perform internal analytics to improve workflow and software improvements.
  • To do FANUC’s services store my media such as images, audio, or video files.

During the usage of FAR application:

The users can capture images, audio, or video files. This images, audio, or video files will be stored further on FANUC’s SharePoint (internal) service. You have the option to store this information on FAR’s platform servers. You can also turn off still image capture, audio, and video recordings for all endpoints based on your business and privacy requirements.

FAR may enter into agreements with third parties for necessary aspects of its services such as:

  • Hosted/cloud services.

  • Sending guest invites via SMS/email.

 

Data retention time.

The data collected during the usage of the FAR application will be securely stored within the FANUC IT ecosystem for the duration of the business relationship between FANUC and the customer.
