Level up with FANUC Webinars

FANUC starts Webinar Series - CNC Experts give Trainings on Automation Issues

Echternach – Starting on 30 March 2021, FANUC will conduct a webinar series with a focus on factory automation. Webinars will be held on a monthly basis and feature many useful, flexible and safety enhancing functions of FANUC’s CNCs. Examples are the Quick and Simple Start Up (QSSR) for easy connection of robots and machines as well as other functions like G-Code Guidance, PROFINET functionality and tools like the Dual Check Safety Acceptance Test Assist Tool. Machine Tool Builders, end customers and all parties interested in using FANUC’s CNCs have the opportunity to join one or all of the webinars and learn more about the set-up, configuration and usage of FANUC’s CNC functions.

The first webinar of the series will revolve around the automation of machine tools. While this is a frequent task for Machine Tool Builders (MTB), smooth cooperation between machine and robot can’t be taken for granted. To facilitate the work of MTBs on this issue, FANUC has built functions into CNC controllers and robots that make it easy to combine the machine and the robot. Markus Birkhold explains which functionalities are provided out of the box and how the connection can be realised quickly with the help of QSSR (Quick & Simple Start-up of Robotization).
