FANUC, the world-leading factory automation company, is expanding and opening a new Nordic Headquarters in Malmo, Sweden

Press Release | May 4th 218

The Japanese factory automation company FANUC is investing heavily in a new facility in the expansive Greater Copenhagen area (Öresunds region) to meet the increased demand for automation in the Nordic region. The new facility will expand the company’s presence and bring it closer to such a key market, while reducing delivery and service lead-times. This will help strengthen FANUC Nordics’s relationship with both partners and end users.

“FANUC is the world’s leading manufacture of CNC controls and robots,” says Cerold Andersson, Managing Director of Fanuc Nordic. “As a company we are fully committed to ‘Service First’, a corporate theme which means that customer service is our highest priority. This commitment includes lifetime maintenance for all Fanuc products throughout their production life.”

The new Nordic Headquarters, which will be located in Malmo, will open during Q4, 2019. Once opened, the facility will include new sales and service facilities, an enlarged showroom and event area, retrofit and technical centres, spare parts and logistics centres, and an enhanced training centre and robot academy.

“Having taken the strategic decision to open this facility, we will be able to support future demands within factory automation in our targeted business areas. Additionally, the new facility will be more accessible to customers that want to meet a FANUC representative, and we will be able to serve customers better than we currently do from our existing locations,” concludes Andersson.
