FANUC to Showcase Smart Injection Moulding, Automation and Digital Manufacturing at FAKUMA 2026
FANUC will present its latest innovations in all-electric injection moulding, robotics, artificial intelligence and digital manufacturing at FAKUMA 2026. The company's exhibition will focus on integrated production solutions that help manufacturers increase productivity, improve quality and address the challenges of labour shortages, rising costs and increasing competitive pressure.
New ROBOSHOT Applications Demonstrate Intelligent Manufacturing
At the centre of the FANUC stand will be two new all-electric ROBOSHOT injection moulding applications, each demonstrating how advanced CNC control and automation deliver consistent quality and operational efficiency.
The FANUC ROBOSHOT S180C will showcase a technical moulding application featuring cavity pressure monitoring on every cavity and simulation-supported hot runner balancing. These technologies enable manufacturers to achieve greater process stability, optimise quality and reduce waste, even in demanding production environments.
The FANUC ROBOSHOT S350C will demonstrate an automated medical packaging application, combining high-precision moulding with automated part handling and packaging. The compact production cell illustrates how manufacturers can achieve reliable, repeatable production while maximising floor space efficiency.
Both applications reflect FANUC's commitment to helping processors improve productivity, quality and flexibility through advanced yet practical automation solutions.
Making Automation Easier Through AI and Robotics
In addition to its injection moulding solutions, FANUC will demonstrate the latest developments in industrial robotics and collaborative automation. A key attraction will be the FANUC CRX collaborative robot, which can be programmed using voice commands supported by generative AI technology. This innovative approach significantly reduces programming complexity and lowers the barrier to automation adoption.
Visitors will also see flexible automation concepts integrated with machine vision systems, demonstrating how manufacturers can automate a wider range of production tasks while maintaining adaptability and ease of use.
Digitalisation and Smart Factory Connectivity
FANUC will have a dedicated IIoT and digitalisation area to demonstrating how connected manufacturing can unlock additional value across the factory floor. The company's digital manufacturing ecosystem on display will include LINK𝑖2, MES connectivity, EUROMAP 82.1 and 82.2 interfaces, WebAPI applications, Moldex3D integration and AI-based digital tools.
These technologies provide manufacturers with greater visibility into production performance, helping them connect machines, automate workflows, enhance quality control and make data-driven decisions that improve overall operational efficiency.
Executive Statement
"Manufacturers today face increasing pressure to improve productivity, quality and flexibility while managing skills shortages and economic uncertainty," said Paul Ribus, Head of Sales Coordination, FANUC Europe " At FAKUMA 2026, we will demonstrate how intelligent injection moulding, robotics, artificial intelligence and digital connectivity can work together to create more efficient and future-ready manufacturing operations. We firmly believe that automation and skills development must go hand in hand to support sustainable industrial growth."
