German tool and mould-making specialist Kress Funkenerosion can provide pertinent testimony in support of this notion. Acquiring its first FANUC EDM machine in 1990, the FANUC Tape Cut W2 still runs every day at this busy manufacturing company. Unsurprisingly, Kress has since invested in 12 FANUC models over the years.
