FANUC collaborative robot CR-15iAThe demand of industrial robots in this area has opened many doors for FANUC. One of the most interesting trends recently is the growing use of the companies´ collaborative robots. These cobots can literally work hand in hand with humans, without the need of protective fences. FANUC's product portfolio of collaborative robots is the widest and the CR-35 is the strongest available collaborative robot on the market. The “cobots” are equipped with advanced sensor technology that enables them to interact safely with humans. In addition to monitoring the robot’s position and speed, these sensors stop and retract the robot safely should contact occur with a human.

FANUC's collaborative series is perfect for a wide range of industrial applications as the portfolio is available with a lifting capacity from 4 kilo to 35 kilo”, stresses FANUC Nordic Managing Director Cerold Andersson. “Several companies in the Nordic region have shown interest in using cobots in their production sites.”
