The president of the global technology leader had the honour of cutting the ribbon of the new production facility of RAIS. During the ceremony, Dr. Y. Inaba took the opportunity to congratulate the company for the investment and to appreciate its long and successful cooperation. "It is a great honour for me to be here on this memorable occasion," said FANUC Corporation President. "The partnership between FANUC and RAIS started in 1995, and since then we have created a very close partnership. RAIS was a pioneer in the new era of CNC machine building in Bulgaria and today the company is already a leader in the industry. We value this achievement very much and we are happy to be part of it," said Dr. Inaba.

He also pointed out that apart from CNC machines, RAIS has also contributed greatly to the development of robotics and industrial automation in Bulgaria. "This is my first visit to Bulgaria, during which I have personally met Mr. Bazdigyan and have seen RAIS’ activities with my own eyes. I am convinced that both industrial production in Bulgaria and RAIS have a bright future. I promise that FANUC Japan and FANUC Europe will deepen our support to RAIS and also to all the Bulgarian customers. I am very happy to see the new production facility of RAIS and I would like to sincerely congratulate Mr. Bazdigyan and the entire RAIS team on this achievement,” Dr. Inaba concluded. As a symbol of the deep partnership between RAIS and FANUC, Dr. Inaba and Mr. B Bazdigyan planted a Japanese Sakura cherry tree in the yard of the new production facility.
